Drivers are up to date and there aren’t any Windows updates either. Super annoying to say the least. I’ve found the quickest way to get it back is to run mmsys. I let it run through a few steps and it resurrects the connection.

In reply to rturnock’s post on May 22, I wrote that I do that to resolve the issue but I want a permanent solution where I won’t have to do it each time I wake up my pc. In reply to PelegDruckmann’s post on May 22, Yeah I want a resolution for this as well. What we are doing is not a fix, it is a work around. One of the updates caused this because I have been using this setup for a very long time and one day a few months back it started happening.

I’d say it was less often but I question my evaluation since I now have a quick fix. I have to unplug and replug to get the sound after wake up from sleep or I have to restart the whole laptop.
